The Celtic Alliance

When Vercingetorix died, it was thought that his dream of unifying Gaul had died with him. However, the cataclysm at Alesia caused great upheaval that upset his ambitions, but the seeds of his project found fertile ground in those who succeeded him, making it possible to achieve this unification.

As a result, all the Gallic and Celtic tribes, and even the most remote, such as the Gaelic, united to confront the invaders from the north and the Adrians. Fervent defenders of a harmonious way of life, in communion with nature and the spirits, they saw the Elves join them with their faithful companions, the Korrigans.

Later, it was the Fir Bolgs who lent them a hand in destroying their enemies, thus balancing the forces on the battlefield.

The Hordes

The Hordes is what the Celts and Adrians call them, for all the territories stretching north and west of the Rhine, from the deep black forests of Germania to the snowy confines of the Scandinavian world, contain within them the ruthless Nordic and Germanic tribes, who share an unparalleled fervour for the ancient gods and an unrivalled taste for pillage and desolation.

To a lesser extent, the Saami tribes have also joined them. The Hordes are an amalgam of several autonomous tribes living in peace. They have also been joined by the Dvergns, who have established their cities beneath the mountains, the fearsome Half-Jötunns and the mysterious Svartalfars.

The Adrian Empire

Rising from the ashes of the defunct Roman Republic after a series of coups d’état led to a period of chaos, futile power struggles followed by bloody assassinations, invasions of all kinds and other barbarian incursions, the glorious Adrian Empire forged its epic by thwarting the successive plots that plagued it. It reaffirmed its authority over the Adriatic peninsula by uniting the peoples of the Mediterranean under its aegis, and evolved by forging new alliances with legendary mythological creatures such as centaurs, fauns and cyclops, forming a cosmopolitan, rich and ingenious empire.

The combination of their knowledge led to the emergence of mecha-magic, ensuring its superiority over its eternal enemies.
